Statue 6.66
Story 9.33

The statue is fantastic! Details are really cool and fitting. The Journal story is fun and mysterious (maybe little too mysterious?). Unfortunately there was a big cost due to being unable to find the path. It took us quite a bit of searching and had to actually be followed backward to realize where it started.

Amazing statue, the set up that tells a story on its own. While the description is very Vintage Story-esque, it alluded to a lot, and left too much for unfinished. It was harder to find than was desired, but the hidden-ness of it also reminded me of Vintage Story.

The Statue and story were great. I enjoyed sitting in the crane and all the little details including the permits and injury reports. I deducted a point for each time I died trying to find the statue. I got stuck in the "path" on the way back to Gravelton and would have stayed in the inky dark forever if Coneva had not guided me free using the web map.

Statue 8.33
Story 6

Statue is great. I love the ‘hologram’ part best - giving explanation of the form. I do wish the story had a bit more detail- showing more of the lore researchers might have determined.

The statue is basic, but recognizable as a villager face? The description of the finding and reconstruction of the statue is quite creative and leaves the door open for so much more.

With out the context of the book it took me a while to figure out the correct angle to look at the sculpture. The back story was left up to us to fill in. The lore felt missing though I quite enjoyed the hologram aspect of it once I had the context of it.
