Several of you asked for it in the past, and I'm happy to finally have an answer: yes, the Creeper's Lab Companion is now available on the Apple App Store! This fully refreshed version has a more polished appearance, a brand new logo and a revised navigation. Get it now from the Apple App Store! You can also get links for the other platforms if you don't have it yet. Once installed, consider going into the settings page to enable news notifications.
Users on Android, Windows or on the web, don't be jealous: you'll soon be getting an update with the improved appearance and functionality. Keep an eye on this space!
At long last, it's time for a new event!
You're invited to show up at Cimmeria's spawn, Aditus, at the start of next Events Night! That's this Saturday, the 5 October at 9pm Eastern time. Bring no equipment, it will be provided to you. No special skills expected, and the more the merrier, so be sure to show up for some fun!
Both Coneva and Grem_MC will be streaming the event. Coneva is now using our official Twitch channel, while Grem will be active on YouTube. Links will be posted at the start of the event for those who want to follow that way. Remember to smash that bell!
Welcome to the beginning of spooky season, with hues of orange, taste of pumpkins and sightings of ghosts. Before all this, though, it's time for a fresh batch of challenges!
The reset of Cimmeria has been completed. As announced before, only the safe area around spawn has been kept, while everything is brand new. Have fun exploring!
On an extra note, all servers were updated to 1.21.1 yesterday. If you haven't set your client to that version yet, consider this your last reminder!
We're updating today some of our rules to give our players clear guidelines and allow everyone to have fun at their own pace. The staff feels strongly that these will help everyone make the best of what we offer at the Creeper's Lab.
The old rule #8 about player safety (lighting your towns) is now included within rule #6 (no traps). A new rule #8 has been introduced, reading as such: Respect the player experience - Give new players the chance to play the game. Don't gift equipment (armor and tools) to players that haven't reached at least Trusted status so they can enjoy the natural discovery of our worlds and features. Let them play at their own rhythm.
Additionally, the rules for the challenge areas have been reviewed, expanded and clarified. They are now available in the main rules page and I highly encourage you to review them. The leading change is that equipment obtained from challenge areas past Shattered Sands can not be freely given to others anymore, even if they have already completed the areas themselves. Your alts are excluded from this. For more, please review the full policy.
These are in place to make sure that newcomers get to experience what the Creeper's Lab has to offer at their own pace, while better understanding how we do things around here. Thank you for your understanding!
Back to school, back to work... or not! Some things change, but one remains constant: fresh challenges for you!
Live now in Kenorland is a feature some of you have requested: an in-game indicator of your progress! The number of targets that you have completed in challenges like Anarchy or UHC is now displayed at the right of your screen. The display includes the top three players plus all of those currently online, so you can be aware of where you're ranking compared to others.
Other challenges like Grindatron and Race Away will be updated to have the display that includes the top 3 players.
All our Minecraft servers have been updated to Minecraft 1.21! It's time to update your client to the latest, 1.21.1, and discover some of the new game features! Who will be the first to die from a Bogged?
Please note that Cimmeria will be reset next month, on September 13 or 14. This will give you the chance to hunt for trial chambers in the wild, along with scoring some of the newer materials. In the meantime, if you wanted to mine for supplies, Cimmeria is a good target! Only the area marked by the orange markers on the map and in-game will be kept.
Hello everyone, and welcome to August! Some of us are enjoying a heat wave at the moment, so why not looking at our newest rotation of challenges to help keep your cool?
It's time for a new logo for the Creeper's Lab! Sleeker, sciencier, greener! Well, okay, it's the same amount of green as before.
Some additional tuning has been done on our protections setup based on the feedback received since we changed our protections plugin to Bolt.
/lock redstone will do the trick.If you have existing farms that rely on dispensers or droppers, these might be protected and won't fire. Again, use /lock redstone (or unlock them outright) for them to work. Dispensers and droppers placed starting today will default to "redstone" to save you the trouble.
Also, the autoclose tag has been fixed and now triggers as expected, only on the doors that you've selected!
Happy mid-point of the year! New challenges are now live, although some are still inaccessible due to the update to 1.20.6 (which is a different type of challenge!).
We have updated today to a new plugin to protect your doors, trapdoors, gates, chests, barrels, shulkers, signs, armor stands and any other, past and future! Bolt is replacing LWC as our do-it-all option. Check the Tips & Tricks page for the new commands, or read on for the most important changes.

In other news, the guild tasks for June have arrived! With only half the time to complete them, they have been made fairly simple.
The update to Minecraft 1.20.6 is now live on all servers! It's recommended that you change your game client to match to get the smoothest results.
As you know, several areas had to close for extra maintenance, including all of the science areas and Moosemart. Some of these will be fixed earlier than others. To follow the current process, you can access our new Status page. You can also get updates as they happen on Discord, in the #cl-status channel. Thank you for your patience!
We're preparing to update the game servers to 1.20.6. If everything goes according to plan, this will happen next Saturday, the 8th. Unfortunately, due to extensive changes to the syntax of commands, several areas will have to close. Science areas and the guilds will be impacted, plus other utilities that rely on commands.
While we will try to bring things up as quickly as possible, some areas will be closed for possibly weeks or months. Some closures could also happen before the 6th to better prepare everything. If you have any goals you wish to complete, now would be a good time to look into it!
For June, we're trying something a bit different! UHC is an encore with better settings, while the guilds have a surprise in store.
Minecraft has reached its 15th anniversary, while the Creeper's Lab has been around for over 12 of these! To celebrate this, various promotions are currently live. I've compiled all the ones I've found below, maybe there's something for you in there!

Read on for the detailsMinecraft 1.20.5 has been released today by Mojang. Due to a change in the plugin providing us with multiple versions support, we'll be adding compatibility for it tomorrow. To play with us until then, you need to stay with 1.20.4 or lower. .4 remains the recommended version for the best results.
Please note that this new game version includes significant technical changes that will take a while for us to process. These will have a big impact on features such as the guilds and science; we'll be trying to minimize the effect on our players.
UPDATE: Support for 1.20.5 has been added.
One day late and a fool short, here's your rotation of challenges for April!
Lost to many in the update shuffle was St. Patrick's Day last Sunday. Did you hunt down the Leprechauns? No? Don't worry, you've got another chance!
The event will be rerun this weekend, during Events Night. Make your way to the Hunter's Lodge, find the hideout of the leprechauns and clean the place! You can trade the various drops back at the safehouse.
Another special will take place at the end of the month, for Easter! Zombie Jesus will rise from the dead, on the 31st only.
Please note that the raid bosses at the Hunter's Lodge are still unavailable as maintenance is ongoing to the science areas. The trading hall and regular mobs are there as usual. Maintenance at the Hunter's Lodge has finished early, and everything is back in working order, including the raid bosses!
At long last, the Creeper's Lab has made the jump to Minecraft 1.20.4! This is now the recommended version to play, so I suggest you update your client today. Please read on for some useful information on what changed.
