Trains contest results!
The builders had to choo-choose a 40x14 sized lot at most and build a train, or something realistic that goes on rails. The entries are listed below from the highest to the lowest score.
Exodio and Toad_ went from entry to entry and judged them on how well they stuck to the theme and how well they looked.
This contest ran from 2015-08-11 to 2015-08-25.
Exodio: Great detail! Engine looks phenomenal. Beautiful addition to the museum. Was hoping for a bit more of an interior to tour.
Toad_: I really like how you did the locomotive so classic but so good and well built. Looks so real in the game!
Exodio: Points off for being Canadian. ;) Like the engine. A good, solid construction with good details all about. Felt a bit gypped that I couldn't get into the cockpit. Great use of banners for the details.
Toad_: I really liked what you did with the banners and the signs.It's really nice that you did a modern train then doing old locomotive trains like the others.
Exodio: Great looking engine. Very thematic. Great details all over. Amazing interior. But where is my bounty? :( The level of love that went into this makes it my fave.
Toad_: As Sheolden once said"i call it the Cow-Blower" it looks nice!and It looks really original!Thought i didn't like the fact that there's no rails and that the bottom of the train is touching the ground...but the rest looks good!
Exodio: Fairly basic model. I like that it runs on grain. Small point, the wheels went into the rails. Kind of hard to move it! Overall lack of detail.
Toad_: It looks nice but too plain.
Exodio: I feel like you phoned this one in, Sphenicus. What are you, early 2000s Bruce Willis?
Toad_: It's really cool that you made a hand car...I wouldn't have thought something like this!
Exodio: "Failed"? I'd say this is a nice abstract piece. I liked the inclusion of a tunnel. The wheels were a bit hard on the eyes. Overall it looks a bit unfinished, but not failed-ly so.
Toad_: I like what you did there with the tunnel. The train looks fine but next time. Keep it up!
Exodio: Another fairly basic model, with a lack of detail both inside and out. Is that a tank tread on each side? I'd love to be in the army with a tank train!
Toad_: It's too HUGE and TOO PLAIN.Don't get it wrong but I think you should have put more thoughts on it. But i think it was your first time...building a train isn't easy so if you felt bad try not too.

Toad_: I like the fact that you made a streetcar! Before i entered for be a judge I was planing to do one at the first place too! I guess you were destined to do it!
Exodio: At least you got the rail down!
