Maybe you should start a mailing list that players can opt out of when creating a minecraft link for the whitelist, so you could just email people this stuff. I know quite a few of the folks who play on the server don't have anything to do with the board.

Of course, many people don't check on this place. That's why I put major notifications on the website's front page, where they're hard to miss. People can also subscribe to the
news feed so they receive notifications directly as they come. Major changes are
pushed on Tumblr for those who have an account here, which is a significant part of our player base. Do you think that a special mailing list would be required on top of that?
