I've done some house cleaning on my Patreon campaign to better highlight the content and features while readjusting the tiers to better reflect the costs of running everything. For new backers, this includes a time-limited offer on joining!

Features long-requested by several Patreon users have also been added more recently, such as the option to gift a subscription to someone else! Maybe you were waiting on this to make a move? 😀

"But wait!", you might ask. "Why Patreon? What's in it for me?" Well, about that...

Running the game servers takes a fair amount of money and a lot of time. Pledging on Patreon allows you to support the work that I put in keeping things running smoothly, apply game updates and improve the play experience over time. In exchange, you can get fun perks, like particle trails, custom titles, postcards (real ones! in the mail!) and more!

Several of the features that people asked about in the past have been added to Patreon over the years, including:

• Paying yearly instead of monthly (and save!)
• Gifting a subscription to someone else
• Following for free to get general updates

For those curious to learn more about how things work behind the scenes, I've also reorganized my past writings to make them easier to find. I've been writing at least monthly since the start, so there's plenty to be found in there.

I've kept the various tiers at the same level since starting this over 10(!!) years ago, but I now have to adjust them. The simple truth is that the monthly postcards to eligible backers now cost almost three times what they used to, plus the hardware that runs the servers got more expensive (but also much more powerful). I've also retired some tiers to simplify this for everyone.

Those at the existing tier won't see any differences, you're grandfathered in! Of course, you're more than welcome to adjust your pledge to match the new rates, but you don't have to - continue enjoying your perks as they are now.

To sweeten the deal, for new backers, I'm offering a 30% discount on your first year, but only if you join within the next three weeks! Use the code C86E5 to save.

Not sure you want to commit for that long? You can also use the code 5CCF0 to get 50% off your first month! Don't wait too long, this ends on 19 November!

Thank you for considering supporting me!
