This update has two parts: new hardware and a new Minecraft version! Welcome to Minecraft 26.1.
For starters, everything has been moved to a new dedicated server. Compared to the previous one, this has 50% more CPU cores and 15% more storage space, giving us more growing room for the future. It also involves more recent hardware and software, making sure things will remain stable. The address to join is the same, so there are no worries for you! There's a bit of work yet to be done, more on that below.
This weekend also saw us move to Minecraft 26.1, the Tiny Takeover! This update remodels all of the baby mobs and adds the golden dandelion. It includes new features such as easier crafting for stone and deepslate variants. See the full update note from Mojang for the full details! Make sure to update your game client to 26.1.2 (if you can!) to get the best results.
And what about that newly released 26.2? We should be good to update to it soon.
As for what's left, only a few elements:
- Making the world maps available once again.
- Correct minor bugs to commands as they are discovered.
- Bring back the images gallery.
- Restore full XMPP chat support.
That you for your patience!
