A set of improvements is now live for the chat system, with improvements for in-game, Discord and IRC. On the menu: better displays and a wider selection of commands!

When you're playing in-game, the status of the chatters from Discord and IRC will display in-game instead of a generic [Discord] or [IRC] tag. This includes both the status along with the color, matching what you're used to see within Minecraft. This excludes the "Trusted" status, as it's not defined on other platforms.

To help see where people are chatting from, a new indicateur has been added at the start of each line. Messages from Discord will have a circled D, those from IRC a circled I, while the various game servers will have unique icons. As a reminder, if you want something more specific, you can mouseover a user's title to view their location.

From Discord, you now have access to a much wider selection of commands, matching the ones that you might already be familiar with in-game. This includes commands like /rules, /maps, /register and more. You can easily see a full list available by typing a single / in Discord: the list will now appear.
