The time has come for our next building contest! AlexTheTrain has prepared something different: a street to be filled, with stores on one side and Plants vs Zombies houses and yards on the other! Here are the full details in FAQ format.

What's the theme?

Small city street, one side stores other side is plants vs zombie houses

Plants vs Zombies is an early smartphone app like Angry birds. In pvz(plants vs zombies) you would buy plants with sun (the in-game currency) and place them on your lawn using them to stop zombies from getting to your house. There are some categories of plants such as Projectile shooter, Sun producing plants, shrooms, exploders, pool plants and Blockades.

• Projectile shooter: shoots a food to hurt and defeat a zombie.
• Sun producer: makes currency to buy more plants with.
• Shrooms: a category that incompases the other categories but at night.
• Exploders: can be placed in an emergency and blow up once and are gone.
• Pool plants: plants that can be placed in water.
• Blockades: do what they can to stop, slow or push back zombies giving time to defeat them.

A basic layout of plants vs zombies consists of Sun producers on the first one or two rows, then Projectile shooters for the next two-four and then a row of Blockades.

For the storefronts you have lots more freedom, all you have is a plot and your imagination!

The list of store types is as follows: Grocery store, Playground, Internet cafe, Pawn Shop, Best Buy Type Store, Hardware Store and Pharmacy/Bank.

What will people be judged on?

Houses: inside, front yard, back yard
Stores: inside, store front, loading dock

All: Sticking to the theme, Focus on little details, Story added to build

Each category will be judged 0-10, then added together and divided by 6.

What's the building location?

Central -> Nether west -> 02 salad facts -> Salgun hub -> Dayo Empire -> 2nd floor Aupuni Uluaau -> then head south

Are plots pre-defined

Plots are pre-defined, place a sign to claim yours.

Are there any prizes?

Merit points, merit vouchers and LOTS of emerald blocks!

First Place: 45 Merit Points. 4 Merit Vouchers. 1024 emerald blocks
Second Place: 35 Merit Points. 3 Merit Vouchers. 512 emerald blocks
Third Place: 30 Merit Points. 1 Merit Voucher. 256 emerald blocks
Fourth and below : 5 Merit Points. 64 emerald blocks
Event Host: 15 Merit Points. 2 Merit Voucher.
Judges: 20 Merit Points. 2 Merit Voucher.

What's the building deadline?

August 31st. This gives you about two weeks to complete your entry, so don't wait!

Can multiple people participate together?

Yes. Each player on a team geats same prize.

Are people allowed to make multiple entries?

Not at first as there are only 14 plots but half way through the contest you can claim a plot on the other side of the street if you wish. Like i said 14 plots so claim yours ASAP!

What building limitations are there?

Y = 59-100 (can't guarantee safety under houses and stores)
