July 2022
Support for Minecraft 1.19.1 has been added to the network as it's been officially released. You are free to update to 1.19.1 or remain on 1.19 for now. Should you join using the newest version on Java Edition, you will see this notification on the corner of your screen:
This is normal and caused by us still running 1.19 internally; there's nothing to be worried about. The plan is to test how our custom chat system interacts with the new verified messages introduced by Mojang in the next few days. Once everything is looking good, we will properly update and the notification should go away.
There's an ongoing building contest for sandcastles! Some people have been planning their entries for a while, but time is running out - the last day for building is on August 1st, about a week from now, so it's time to get going! For the details, please see the original news post - several pre-made lots are waiting for you.
Also open until the end of July is the free access to the Sarnath Necropolis, our new regenerating Ancient City. Sculk sensors and shriekers can be carefully harvested from this location, puzzles solved, while a certain monster lurks in the deep darkness. After this trial period, the Necropolis will be available only during Events Nights, or with a Merit Points / Voucher access similar to the other structures.
We're planning some significant changes to Cimmeria, some that could be unexpected, so please read on for the full details.
Cimmeria is our starter world, open to everyone with a focus on the non-registered visitors. Many make some simple builds then move on, either to the other worlds or to other communities. As a result, the surroundings of Aditus, the spawn town, get busy with basic builds and used resources. This makes it more difficult to find potential building grounds.
To help with this, we have decided that Cimmeria will now be reset on a regular schedule. This has two main benefits: new players will be able to find resources and free land more quickly, while our regulars will gain a world ready to be exploited for supplies. While no frequency has been chosen for sure, a quarterly rate (every three months) is the most likley option right now.
The area around the spawn town of Aditus will be kept on each wipe. To make the place more inviting, a train station with rails heading in the four cardinal directions will be added, along with some other utilities, bringing it closer to the standards of our other survival worlds.
The first reset will happen in two months, not before September the 16th. If you have any supplies that you want to save, consider getting them soon. If there are buildings that you would like to see moved elsewhere, please get in touch as soon as possible.
Note that there are no plans to reset any of the main survival worlds. Our focus is still on long-term stability, and we don't want to see your building work go to waste.
Thanks for reading!
It's time to go to the races!
I'm inviting you all to do some laps at our racing minigame, accessible from the lobby. We will do three runs of both Bowser's Castle and Donut Plains. You've never tried this before? Don't worry, it's easy to grasp! Feel free to go do some Time Trials before we begin to learn the tracks.
The rankings will be determined Mario Kart-style, with points assigned to each player based on their position at the end of each race. Whoever scores the most points at the end wins the following:
- First Place: 15 Merit Points. 3 Merit Vouchers.
- Second Place: 10 Merit Points. 2 Merit Vouchers.
- Third Place: 3 Merit Points. 1 Merit Voucher.
We will start at around 10pm Eastern time this Saturday, an hour after the start of Events Night.
See you at the races!

And more news to share we indeed have! Fresh off the presses, we have a new regenerating structure for all you aspiring archeologists out there; the Sarnath Necropolis!
This regenerating structure allows you to get the full Ancient City experience, including a city-wide game of Don't Wake Daddy Warden, using wool to try and desperately keep those shriekers quiet, and even allows you to mine the Sculk Sensors and Sculk Shriekers for your own! Redstone puzzles, new loot, and a new Boss somewhere in the depths are all waiting for you!
The city has three modes: City Access, which allows you to tour the city without threat of assault, but without any rewards. Regen Access, which allows you to use a Merit Voucher at any time of the week for 5 accesses. Events Night Access, which allows free access during the Events Night periods.
Like the other structures, this city would normally only be accessible via Events Night for free; but, as a launch bonus for 1.19, access will be free until August 1st!
A new set of Science Tools was also released in conjunction with 1.19, the Void Claw - Harvest sets from Sarnath Necropolis itself and Wyvern Claw - Organic sets from the Farming Guilds. Silktouch hoes perfect for all your Sculk-mining needs! Both these sets follow the trends of the other members of their respective toolsets, including enchanced versions and upgrades.
Directions on how to get to this new structure can be found here!

Moosemart has also been updated with a teaser for some of the new trades that'll hit the shelves around that same time, take a visit over to Bay 513 to check it out! More to come on this and some related features closer to that August 1st release date!

As of the 1.19 launch, the Hunter's Lodge has also been temporarily taken offline for some much needed modernization and improvements. It may be down for some time, but it will return with it's own event- a special relaunch with any and all raid bosses missed during the maintenance period, plus some extra goodies to go along with it's new facelift. Stay tuned!
The network has been updated to Minecraft 1.19. Fans of frogs, it's time to update your client to join us on new adventures! While it's still possible to join and play using 1.18 at the moment, it's not recommended and expected to be removed from survival later.
The maps for Rodinia, Gondwana and Superia are currently regenerating and will be fully available soon. This will remove the stray chunks that generated outside the world borders. Now that the root cause for them has been found and eliminated, no more random spots should appear... outside of staff oopsies!
The two new major additions to the worlds in this game update are the Ancient Cities and mangroves. While our initial plan was to expand Rodinia once again to give you access to these, the scope of the additions didn't seem worth it, so this will be kept aside for a later date.
Worry not, though! Gondwana, Cimmeria and Superia have been updated with square world borders instead of their previous circles, and I hear that these new corners could be harboring secrets... The change from circle to square increases the size of each world by about 27%, giving you new exploration and building opportunities! Plus, this uses the vanilla border instead of a plugin-based one, which means it's visible to add and will no longer cause unpredictable bouncing when you hit it.
If you're interested in exploring Ancient Cities and fun and profit, or possibly acquiring Allays to do your bidding, we will have more news to share with you soon.
Enjoy!
Welcome to July!
Kenorland: UHC!
Would you believe it's been seven months since our last UHC run?
A small, protected area is available around the spawn point. Beyond that, you're on your own! Dying will kick you out for a week, so be careful out there.
Your goals for this challenge are the following:
- Crafting a bookshelf
- Crafting an enchantment table
- Access the Nether
- Pick up a blaze rod
Each successfully completed task is worth 5 Merit Points.
Science
Uncle Sam and the Warlock have come back to Hunter's Lodge to celebrate the 4th of July. Who knows, maybe they want to set off some fireworks!
New Horsemen Quests are also available for all five of the Four Horsemen. Plus, don't forget to submit an application to gather tokens toward your Acolyte status!
Guilds
As with every new month, the guilds have new targets. You have until the end of this month to complete them and claim your tokens!
If you need details on any of these, the wiki page about the Monthly Challenges is updated as soon as each of these is ready at the beginning of the month!
