Some of you are already familiar with the renders that I've been generating of various locations around the servers. At the same time, you might not want to go through 9 pages of forum discussion just to find a specific image that you liked.
To make these, and more, readily available, I'm launching tonight a new images gallery. You can easily browse everything being made available so far, and any new additions will appear over there as well. There's a handy download button under each image, so you can grab them for your own use, set them as wallpapers or whatever you wish. Please go check it out!
A new Gallery option has been added to the main navigation menu of the website to link to this.
Additionally, I'm happy to announce that xray275 has been granted the player rank of Media! He's graciously offered to create new visuals to accompany news posts, events, or for promoting the Creeper's Lab. He's already created four scenes that you can view in his new gallery.
Welcome aboard, xray!

November 2017
Salutations Netizens of Miranda,
Tomorrow, November 15th marks yet another yearly anniversary for Miranda. Two years have gone by, so I think it's time to get some more community interactive things going.
I'm calling for contractors to build attractions, games, and PvP arenas in Miranda! We need something to get everyone together and interacting with each other. As a bit of celebration for this anniversary and to entice players to get building: Starting tomorrow, the 15th, the flight shrine at spawn will be ENABLED until the end of November. For new players as a reminder, the flight shrine is stationed at the northwest of spawn and is normally active during Contractor's Evening on Wednesdays at 6PM EST. This grants flight until you disconnect or the end of the night.
Players that decide to build during this time and inform me of their intended build/function, will also gain the Contractor rank, and with it access to Ouroboros, the creative planning server. This will help those who choose to plan out their build better without requiring single player, etc. After choosing your destination and beginning your build, contact Unknown_Entity for nether connections.
I will also be taking submissions for the start of the overworld rail system, similar to what you've seen in Laurasia and Rodinia. You can build smaller mockups in Ouroboros and present your ideas as well. Whoever is chosen to build the main rail station, upon completion, will be rewarded a game or DLC on Steam up to $10. Teams are allowed as well, and thusly will be awarded the same to each builder. You will only be required to design and build the main building, providing sufficient endpoints, and the possibility to be expanded. You are not required to run any actual rails.
This may seem like a cop-out to get others to do the work, but I want to involve the community. So instead of designing and building it myself, I want the builds to come from the players. Alongside the request for arenas, games, and attractions, I ask players build around spawn, or make other cities. Shape the world as you all see fit.
There's plenty of areas to spread out and develop the world, so please take this opportunity to get your creativeness going and build something spectacular.

Remember, remember, the 11th of November, for this happens to be the sixth anniversary of the Creeper's Lab!
The last year has once again been full of changes and surprises, especially as we kicked off with a week of celebrations for the fifth anniversary; I know many of you enjoyed this. Most notably, the following happened in the past twelve months:
- Takao, a modded Pixelmon server, was launched for all Pokémon trainers. It was later retired after a takedown action against the mod itself.
- New contests, like the Ice Castles, boats and the long-lasting Lemuria one.
- An overworld rail network redesign for improved travel, with some lines now going directly through portals.
- Major chat upgrades, including the launch of our popular Discord server.
- The introduction of the Race Away challenge and the madness that followed.
I have plenty of ideas in mind on what to do still, and I hope you'll all be here with us to see that come to fruition. I'd like to extend my special thanks to the Patreon backers, who are helping to make some of these changes possible! In exchange, they've been given access to some exclusive features like the ability to set their own custom titles in-game!
Thanks for being here, no matter if you joined last week, last year, or at the very beginning!

Hear ye, hear ye!
All combatants, young and old, men and women, novice or experimented, are summoned to the Spider Dome! A recent outbreak of monsters has been discovered there, and we need all capable hands to repel these foes before they can threaten the citizens!
The battles will begin this Saturday, at 10pm Eastern time. Bring yourself, your friends, your weapons and armor, and prove to everyone in a show of glory that you are the best at what you do!
---
For those not in the know, the Spider Dome is a battle location where waves of mobs are spawned in and you fight them... or die trying! It's a fun way to see some unusual mob attack patterns, and you get to keep any item drops that you can secure! Things usually have a light tone, and being good at fighting isn't a requirement at all! You're invited to come around to participate or just watch!
Wizards and witches have worked around the clock near their prized cauldrons to brew, gather and hand over large amounts of mystical bottles. Only four people decided to engage in the contest, but the amount of bottles generated will be able to keep a alchemist's lab fully stocked for a long time!
Here are the final scores and the winning prizes!
First place: axe_y with 46,080 points - 30 Merit Points + Pumpkin Carver
Second place: Coneva with 36,405 points - 20 Merit Points + Pumpkin Splitter
Third place: GingeKoda with 20,980 points - 10 Merit Points + Pumpkin Spoon
Honorable mention: Doctacosa with 205 points - Pumpkin Candle
Congrats to all winners, and see you all at the next event!
Happy Halloween, everyone! Enjoy your treats... or your tricks!
